Spotlight: Google’s “No Name” Café
Google headquarters in Mountain View, CA. conducted a nationwide search for an Executive Chef for their “No-Name” restaurant concept. After a 3-month Iron Chef-style competition, Steve was offered the Chef’s helm of the “No–Name” Cafe. Referred to as the “Chef’s Sandbox,” Google operates outside of established food service platforms and enabled Chef Steve the creative freedom to grow a successful operation that became the preferred dining place of Google founders Sergey Brin and Larry Page.
